Mentor / Advisor Program

Executive Directors of nonprofit organizations sometimes establish an administrative bond with an Executive Service Corps consultant that leads to an extended Mentor/Advisor program. After a project is completed, the Executive Director may request the consultant's continued assistance in gaining a broader knowledge of business skills.

The mentors help Executive Directors, who perform a wide variety of functions and work long hours under pressure, develop a broad business background to help prepare them to make the daily decisions that affect the future of their organizations. The assignment may last six months or longer.
