In addition, ESCH is pleased to announce that we will honor Rev. William A. Lawson, 87, founding pastor of Wheeler Baptist Church (now retired), for his years of philanthropic service to the Houston community.

How to Start a Nonprofit
Starting a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization, as exciting as it is, has many pitfalls. Making your nonprofit a successful one requires sound planning and a good base of information. Executive Service Corps of Houston in partnership with University of Houston-Management Information System offers nonprofits a FREE opportunity, each semester, to create/improve websites and database, as well as review IT systems and strategies. Please complete an online Request for Assistance, located under the yellow "Need ESCH Help?" button above left.  See the video below for more information about ESCH and our successful 9-year partnership with University of Houston. Many of Houston's nonprofits have benefited from this free service.
